Technical Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Technical Manager to support the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects. The role involves reviewing drawings, preparing technical submissions and ensuring that works comply with approved documents, authority requirements and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural, structural, civil and MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs and contract documents.
• Prepare, review and coordinate shop drawings, bar‑bending schedules and as‑built drawings.
• Prepare and submit material submittals, method statements, technical data sheets, samples, ITPs and other technical documents for consultant approval.
• Raise, track and close RFIs, NCRs, consultant comments and design clarifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, QA/QC teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Engineer, Technical Office Engineer, Project Engineer or Site Engineer in a construction contractor environment.
• Experience on residential, commercial, villa, high‑rise or mixed‑use projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs and construction methods.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong command of MS Office.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit (advantageous).
• Experience with document‑control systems.
