Technical Office Engineer – Civil & Structural (UAE EPC)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Office Engineer specialized in civil and structural engineering to support an EPC Oil & Gas project in Ruwais, UAE. The role involves managing technical office tasks, reviewing documents, preparing shop drawings and coordinating with site teams to ensure compliance with ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit shop drawings, as‑built drawings and technical submittals in line with project requirements.
• Perform quantity take‑off (QTO), assist in cost estimation and variation orders, and prepare material take‑off (MTO) lists.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants and clients to resolve technical issues and design clashes.
• Ensure all civil works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications and IFC drawings.
• Support procurement by evaluating technical aspects of materials and subcontractor submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 + years experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects in the UAE, with strong ADNOC project exposure.
• Site‑based experience in technical office and civil engineering activities.
• Proven ability to manage documentation control and prepare progress reports, RFIs and technical correspondence.
