Technical Office Engineer – Equipment (Full‑time)

About the role

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Technical Office Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi site office on a major Oil & Gas EPC project. The role focuses on equipment engineering, ensuring that all mechanical installations meet ADNOC standards and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret GA, equipment layout, vendor drawings, datasheets, P&IDs and technical specifications.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, material submittals, lifting plans, RFIs and Technical Queries.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, QA/QC, vendors and planning teams to resolve equipment installation issues.
• Verify that installation complies with ADNOC standards, OEM requirements and API, ASME, ISO codes, including alignment, grouting, torque and preservation.
• Support pre‑commissioning, commissioning, mechanical completion and preparation of as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in mechanical equipment engineering or technical office functions on Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Minimum 3 years experience on ADNOC or similar GCC facilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of static and rotating equipment installation, including pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ADNOC engineering standards, API, ASME and ISO specifications.
• Ability to prepare and review RFIs, Technical Queries, method statements and material submittals.
• Proficiency in reviewing vendor drawings, datasheets and equipment layouts.
• Understanding of mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning and commissioning processes.
