Technical Office Engineer – Piping

About the role

Archirodon Group is seeking an experienced Technical Office Engineer specialized in piping to join its Abu Dhabi site office. The role supports the delivery of a major Oil & Gas EPC project, ensuring all piping works meet ADNOC, ASME, API and other international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret piping drawings, P&IDs, isometrics and specifications for construction.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, material submittals, RFIs and technical queries.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, procurement and planning teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, ASME, API and applicable codes.
• Monitor engineering revisions and maintain up‑to‑date approved documents for construction.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, hydro‑testing, reinstatement and pre‑commissioning.
• Review material take‑offs (MTOs) and support procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate engineering records in collaboration with the Document Control team.
• Participate in constructability reviews and assist in preparing as‑built drawings and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of piping engineering or technical office experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Minimum 3 years experience on ADNOC or similar GCC projects (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of piping construction, fabrication, installation and testing requirements.
• Familiarity with ADNOC engineering standards, Permit‑to‑Work procedures and international codes (ASME, API, ASTM).
