Technical Product Owner - AI Tooling

About the role

Emirates Group IT is looking for a Technical Product Owner for AI tooling in Dubai. The role owns the strategy, delivery and operational success of enterprise technology products supporting workflow automation, digital processes, analytics and business productivity. It acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams and external delivery partners, owning the product roadmap, backlog prioritisation, vendor management and the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own story content, acceptance criteria and end-story sign-off across team backlogs, keeping user stories ready for future PI planning cycles
• Capture, refine and prioritise technical debt and non-functional requirements across all sprints, plus BAU, ceremony and spike activities
• Contribute to PI demos and define metrics to measure the success of prioritised work
• Identify and raise risks and dependencies to the Product Portfolio backlog, and attend key Product Management meetings such as PI Planning
• Help build a community of Product Owners and contribute to Product Management communities
• Work with teams to capture and consolidate team-driven innovation ideas for the TPM community

Required profile

• Degree or Honours (12+3) in IT
• 5+ years of total IT experience, including 2+ years as a Product Owner/Manager in a team-facing role with a track record of delivering change
• Global Product (CSPO/SAFe/PSPO) training and certification
• Experience in a Scaled Agile framework across multiple initiatives and about 50+ teams is not essential but helpful
• Strong communicator at peer, line and stakeholder levels, with a customer-centric mindset

Required skills

• Agile delivery, low-code platforms, workflow automation, API integrations, cloud technologies, data and analytics solutions, and application lifecycle management
• Well-versed in product management tools for software delivery
• Knowledge of Operations Research, Marketing Science, Information Systems, e-Commerce or a relevant industry certification
