Technical Product Owner – Airport Operations (Emiratisation)

About the role

Emirates is looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead Airport Operations products as part of its Emiratisation initiative. You will join the Technical Product Management team, shaping B2B and B2C solutions across Digital, Airline and Airport Operations domains. The role bridges business needs and engineering delivery, ensuring products deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Own and refine story content, acceptance criteria, and sign‑off across multiple team backlogs.
• Capture, prioritize and manage technical debt, non‑functional requirements, BAU, ceremonies and spikes within sprint capacity.
• Prepare contributions for PI demos and maintain feature quality, risk identification and dependency tracking.
• Participate in PI Planning and other Product Management meetings, defining metrics to measure success.
• Foster a community of Product Owners, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent) with 5+ years of IT experience.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe or PSPO training.
• 2+ years of hands‑on Product Owner/Manager experience, preferably in a scaled‑agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Airport Operations and Ground Handling systems, including related business processes.

Required skills

• CSPO/SAFe/PSPO certification.
• Proficiency with Product Management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Data analysis and KPI measurement in airline and ground handling contexts.
• Business analysis and process‑mapping expertise.
