Technical Product Owner - Airport Operations

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Technical Product Owner for Airport Operations as part of its Emiratisation initiative. You will join the Technical Product Management team to drive the development and delivery of B2B and B2C technology products supporting digital, airline and airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own story content, acceptance criteria and sign‑off across team backlogs, ensuring readiness for program increments.
• Capture and prioritize technical debt, non‑functional requirements, BAU, ceremonies and spikes within capacity.
• Prepare contributions to PI demos and maintain feature quality, risk and dependency tracking.
• Define metrics to measure success and participate in PI planning and product management community activities.

Required profile

• Degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent) with 5+ years IT experience.
• 2+ years experience as a Product Owner/Manager delivering change at pace.
• Experience working in a Scaled Agile framework across multiple initiatives is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with peers and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent SAFe/PSPO certification.
• Practical knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile practices.
• Understanding of airport operations and ground handling systems.
• Experience with data, KPIs and business analysis in airline/ground handling context.
