Technical Product Owner - Travel & Booking Journeys

About the role

Wipro Limited is hiring a Technical Product Owner in Dubai to own customer-facing digital products across their complete lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through launch and continuous improvement. The preferred domain is airline, travel, transportation, mobility or logistics, with experience in booking and chauffeur drive journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and customer needs into product capabilities, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional and non-functional requirements.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog, MVP and product increments based on business value, customer impact and technical dependencies.
• Manage complex booking and transactional journeys, including availability, eligibility, fulfilment, amendments, cancellations, payments, notifications and exception handling.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Engineering, QA, Security, UX, Operations and business stakeholders.
• Define and monitor product KPIs covering customer experience, adoption, operational efficiency, conversion and revenue.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, third-party vendors and technology partners.

Required profile

• 10+ years in Product Management or Technical Product Management, ideally within complex enterprise digital transformation programmes.
• Preferred experience in airline, travel, transportation, mobility or logistics, including booking and chauffeur drive journeys.
• Integration experience with CRM, loyalty, reservation, payment, notification and fulfilment systems.
• Understanding of route/service-area eligibility, capacity, vehicle selection and passenger requirements.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including backlog refinement, sprint/release planning, UAT, go-live and hypercare.
• Experience using AI tools for Product Management.

• Web/mobile applications, REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud-native applications and enterprise integrations.
• Customer journey mapping, service design and UX/UI principles.
• Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
