Technical Project Manager – Office Based (Dubai)

About the role

The client, a well‑established contracting company in Dubai, seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the technical coordination of multiple construction projects from the office. You will act as the central hub between engineering disciplines, architects, structural teams and subcontractors, ensuring all technical deliverables meet regulatory and green‑building standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all engineering disciplines across several projects.
• Review and submit material submittals in line with building codes, regulations and sustainability requirements.
• Facilitate communication between architectural and structural teams.
• Lead the project technical team and manage stakeholder updates.
• Review in‑house and subcontractor shop drawings.
• Coordinate engineering works between subcontractors and consultants.
• Review IFC drawings, raise RFIs and ensure alignment with project documentation.
• Resolve technical issues, attend technical meetings and prepare progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical coordination or management within a contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership abilities.
