Technical Solutions Specialist - Mining Geoscience

About the role

Seequent, a provider of geoscience technology headquartered in New Zealand, is hiring a Technical Solutions Specialist for its mining solutions in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Team Lead, Technical Solutions, this hybrid role supports users of Seequent's geoscience tools with advanced technical support, training and mentoring, builds client relationships from trial through advanced use, and works with sales and global technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Share expert product knowledge, workflows and integrated solutions with new and existing mining users.
• Partner with Account Managers and Inside Sales to deliver product demonstrations, set up trials and create implementation plans.
• Provide remote technical support and develop tailored solutions for complex user challenges.
• Conduct client health checks, promote software releases and embed new features and best-practice workflows.
• Deliver regular training across the Seequent portfolio and maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions.
• Collaborate with regional and global technical and software development teams on user needs and business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in geoscience, preferably Geology.
• At least 5 years of experience, ideally in mine geology, exploration, resource estimation or a related industry.
• Highly technical written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Customer-focused, collaborative, able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, build sustainable relationships and travel when required.

Required skills

• Geological modelling workflows across different commodities.
• Strong capability in 3D geological modelling software applied to real mining challenges.
• Mineral resource estimation, grade control and exploration or grade-control database workflows.
• Experience with Leapfrog, Edge, Central, MX Deposit and/or Imago is advantageous.
