Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer provides engineering and support services for the company’s systems, products, and operational procedures. The role ensures prompt, high‑quality assistance to internal teams, clients, and field operations while coordinating technical service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients, project teams, and field engineers for technical submissions.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, product data sheets, and troubleshooting guides.
• Operate diagnostic and monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution.
• Support project execution through technical clarifications, testing coordination, and commissioning assistance.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers for product specifications and technical submittals.
• Deliver reports on system performance, fault trends, and service activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and service departments to ensure technical consistency across projects.
• Maintain up‑to‑date CRM information.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering or Geology.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE, with at least 2 years as a Technical Support Engineer in automation, control systems, or utility projects.
• Working knowledge of technical drawings, control systems, instrumentation, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and diagnostic software tools.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
