Technical Support Engineer / Technology Consultant

About the role

The organization is looking for technically skilled, solution-oriented professionals for two related positions: Technical Support Engineer and Technology Consultant. Both roles centre on technical troubleshooting, system optimization, technology implementation, solution design and the delivery of reliable technical services. Candidates should show strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• As Technical Support Engineer: diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving hardware, software, networks and integrated systems; investigate reported problems, analyze system errors and perform technical assessments; implement solutions to restore functionality and maintain reliability; collaborate with customers, internal technical teams and engineering departments; configure equipment, test functionality, install software updates, maintain technical documentation and guide users on system operation; identify recurring issues and recommend preventive measures.
• As Technology Consultant: evaluate technology requirements and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance; assess existing systems and analyze business and technical needs; prepare technical proposals, evaluate software and infrastructure options, document requirements and coordinate implementation; support technology integration, process improvement and digital modernization.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of technical systems, troubleshooting methodologies and technology implementation principles.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements, identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Collaboration with customers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with a proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Familiarity with computer hardware, software applications, operating systems and network fundamentals.
• Knowledge of system configuration, technical diagnostics and performance optimization is an advantage.
• Understanding of requirements analysis, solution evaluation and technology integration is beneficial for the consultant role.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, cybersecurity principles or IT infrastructure is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for technical reports, presentations and documentation.
