Technical Trainer for Enterprise Transformation Project

About the role

The Trainer will lead the adoption of a new enterprise‑wide COTS platform for a public‑sector client. You will design, deliver and continuously improve role‑based training programs that enable users to operate the system efficiently and support the broader digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain comprehensive, role‑based curricula, user manuals, quick reference guides, job aids, e‑learning modules and presentations.
• Deliver training through multiple modalities: classroom, virtual sessions, hands‑on workshops and self‑paced e‑learning.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to tailor content to specific configurations, workflows and integrations of the COTS platform.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning preferences across departments.
• Provide hands‑on support, coaching and subject‑matter expertise during and after training sessions.
• Collect and analyse trainee feedback to refine materials, delivery methods and overall program effectiveness.
• Develop and roll out a “train‑the‑trainer” program to empower internal staff as future trainers.
• Work with Change Management to embed training within the change strategy and track adoption metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience as a technical trainer, corporate trainer or instructional designer on IT software implementation projects.
• Proven track record delivering training programs for large, complex organisations with diverse user bases.
• Experience training users on enterprise‑grade COTS solutions or custom applications.
• Prior exposure to public‑sector or highly regulated environments is a plus.
