Technical Writer Intern

About the role

QuantumGate is seeking a Technical Writer Intern to support its growing product portfolio. The role offers hands‑on experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and update end‑user and application instructional documentation under the guidance of the senior Technical Writer.
• Update and maintain screenshots, diagrams, and other visual assets as products and interfaces evolve.
• Attend product and engineering meetings to capture notes and identify documentation‑impacting changes.
• Help triage the documentation backlog by identifying changes, affected documents, and required follow‑up.
• Review existing documentation for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and outdated content.
• Gather information from product and engineering stakeholders to clarify undocumented details.
• Support documentation tracking, organization, and maintenance activities as needed.
• Follow established documentation, style, and formatting guidelines consistently.
• Learn and apply technical writing practices within a software development environment.

Required profile

• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in technical writing, UX writing, developer documentation, or a related field.
• Interest in software products and the software development lifecycle.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar product areas.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to follow established style and formatting guidelines consistently.
