Technician - Equipment Engineering

About the role

This position supports the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance of HVAC systems within cleanrooms and production facilities. The technician works closely with supervisors and maintenance teams to ensure reliable environmental control in a GMP‑regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), exhaust systems, and chilled water loops.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including filter replacement and cleaning.
• Monitor HVAC parameters, report abnormalities, and conduct basic troubleshooting.
• Support cleanroom environmental compliance and adhere to GMP requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance crews during shutdowns and scheduled maintenance.
• Follow all safety and pharmaceutical GMP procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or cleanroom facilities is preferred.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
