About the role
We are looking for a charismatic Teppanyaki Chef to deliver high‑energy live cooking performances for our distinguished members. The role combines culinary excellence with entertaining table‑side showmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Engage and entertain guests during live cooking, performing classic teppanyaki tricks such as onion volcanoes, juggling and utensil flips.
- Prepare and cook premium meats, seafood and vegetables on the teppan grill to exact specifications, ensuring perfect temperature control and presentation.
- Manage ingredient preparation, portioning and marinating before service.
- Maintain an immaculate cooking station and adhere strictly to hygiene regulations throughout service.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of proven experience as a Teppanyaki Chef in a luxury hotel or premium restaurant.
- Exceptional knife skills and mastery of the teppan grill.
- Confident, charismatic personality comfortable being the centre of attention.
- Relevant culinary certifications and current UAE Food Hygiene training (preferred).
