Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Freight Facilities

About the role

The Testing & Commissioning Engineer will support freight facilities on a transformative rail infrastructure project, covering formation preparation, track installation, yard development and systems integration.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise testing and commissioning activities for civil and infrastructure works.
• Prepare and review testing plans, procedures, checklists and method statements.
• Monitor testing of utilities networks, including water, sewerage, stormwater and irrigation.
• Witness and verify hydrostatic, pressure, leakage, gravity line and compaction testing.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, subcontractors and authorities throughout testing phases.
• Maintain testing records, commissioning reports and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant site supervision experience on rail or major infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline related to railway projects.
• Middle‑East project experience is advantageous.
