Threat Intelligence Manager – Cyber Security

About the role

Our Client is seeking an experienced Threat Intelligence Manager to lead and evolve their cyber threat intelligence capability. Reporting to the Head of Information Security Cyber Defense Operations, this role will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and communicating cyber threats, delivering actionable intelligence to strengthen the organisation's security posture and protect critical information assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Threat Intelligence function, aligning activities with business objectives and cyber risk management strategies.
• Develop and maintain a proactive Threat Intelligence programme, identifying and assessing emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct threat actor profiling, malware analysis, reverse engineering, and digital forensics investigations.
• Produce and deliver actionable intelligence reports, briefings, and recommendations for both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Incident Response teams to support threat mitigation and cyber incident investigations.
• Manage Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs) and ensure effective integration with security monitoring and response functions.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry intelligence‑sharing groups, including FS‑ISAC and other external partners.
• Drive continuous improvement in intelligence‑gathering methodologies, threat detection capabilities, and reporting processes.
• Support third‑party security oversight and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Analysis, or Cyber Defence, preferably within a large enterprise or financial services environment.
• Strong expertise in threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and the Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with malware analysis, reverse engineering, digital forensics, and cyber incident investigations.
• Experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs), OSINT methodologies, and commercial threat intelligence feeds.
• Knowledge of security and regulatory frameworks including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SWIFT, and regional cybersecurity requirements.
