Time Keeper – Attendance & Payroll Support

About the role

We are seeking a creative, smart and detail‑oriented Time Keeper to maintain accurate attendance and manpower records for all site workers, ensure timely submission of timesheets, and support payroll processing. The role demands excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage workforce data and generate reports.

Key responsibilities

• Record and monitor daily attendance of all site employees and workers.
• Prepare, verify and submit daily, weekly and monthly timesheets, ensuring accurate reflection of overtime, leave, absences, public holidays and shift allocations.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors and HR to resolve attendance discrepancies.
• Maintain updated manpower deployment records for each project and generate Excel‑based attendance and payroll support reports.
• Verify worker mobilisation, transfers and demobilisation records and maintain proper filing of attendance documentation.
• Monitor leave balances, report prolonged absences and assist in preparing reports on manpower utilisation and productivity.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Time Keeper in the construction industry, preferably managing attendance for a large workforce.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, data validation, filtering, sorting, report preparation).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
