Trainee Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Trainee Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team in Dubai. The role supports the creation of reliable reports and actionable insights that help drive operational and strategic decisions across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining recurring business reports and dashboards used by leadership and operational teams.
• Support data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
• Extract and organize data from internal databases or reporting systems.
• Document reporting logic, KPI definitions, and data sources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in existing reports and dashboards.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis for retail teams.
• Contribute to improving reporting efficiency through AI‑driven initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Willingness to learn quickly and improve rapidly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction.
