Transaction Centre Accountant

About the role

The Transaction Centre Accountant will support the finance function of Hidayet Trading LLC by managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring accurate posting of transactions and providing analytical support for cash flow and currency matters.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile periodic accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank statements, payroll and inter‑company confirmations.
• Prepare cash receipts/payments forecasts and currency analysis.
• Post loan transactions and other general‑ledger entries in the ERP system.
• Assist with cost/profit centre, project reporting and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Participate in month‑end close processes.
• Process and post transactions for AR, AP and cash records.
• Handle internal and external queries on invoices and payments.
• Prepare customer and vendor payment runs.
• Provide backup support to other accounting groups and generate periodic reports.
• Test new software implementations and integrate them with ERP.
• Help develop and improve Accounting Transaction Centre processes in Dubai.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong desire to learn.
• Flexible and open to change.
• Effective communicator able to work with remote and on‑site teams.

Required skills

• SAP ERP system experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Cash book management experience.
