Transport Coordinator

About the role

The Transport Coordinator will oversee daily transport operations, ensuring shipments are scheduled, tracked, and delivered on time while maintaining high service standards. You will work closely with dispatch, warehouse, and customer teams to provide seamless transportation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and create missions in Micro-Transport Software (MT) based on daily operational schedules.
• Provide daily reports generated from MT software as requested by customers.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements with the dispatch team to ensure timely pick‑up, loading, and departure.
• Handle customer queries in accordance with established processes.
• Interact proactively with internal and external customers and suppliers to deliver complete transportation solutions.
• Liaise with transport and warehouse operations to give regular shipment updates and obtain timely PODs.
• Measure and control warehouse, transport, and documentation activities to meet timelines and service levels.
• Prepare inbound and outbound status reports, billing information, and any other required reports.
• Ensure billing information is available within monthly timelines.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager to meet business requirements.
