Transport Planning Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Transport Planning Analyst to join the Logistics Services team at our headquarters in Dubai Airport Free Zone. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support the transport planning function across business units and help optimise our Transport Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily transport plans, optimising routes and schedules based on vehicle availability and operational requirements.
• Monitor real‑time vehicle movements via GPS tracking, responding to delays, deviations or breakdowns.
• Produce and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports covering KPIs such as delivery performance, vehicle utilisation, fuel consumption and SLA adherence.
• Manage GPS and TMS data reporting for drivers, vehicles and depots on daily, weekly and monthly cycles, including ad‑hoc requests.
• Analyse transport data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data‑driven decision making and predictive analytics.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in transport or logistics planning.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with drivers, depot teams and customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate transport records.

Required skills

• Power BI (or equivalent data visualisation tools).
• GPS tracking systems.
• Transport Management System (TMS) usage and reporting.
