Travel Operations Manager – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Operations Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our Dubai‑based travel agency and DMC. The role involves managing the full travel lifecycle, from initial enquiry through post‑travel support, while leading a multi‑disciplinary operations team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end travel operations, including FIT & GIT holiday packages, air ticketing, hotel bookings, visa processing, airport transfers, tours and travel documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all bookings and handle operational escalations.
• Lead, mentor and supervise the Operations, Reservations, Sales Support and Customer Service teams; set KPIs and monitor performance.
• Recruit, train and develop team members.
• Build and maintain relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, transport providers and other tourism partners; negotiate rates and agreements.
• Improve operational processes, monitor booking accuracy, productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance the overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a travel agency, DMC, tour operator or tourism company.
• Proven track record of leading an operations team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE travel market, suppliers and tourism industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Currently based in Dubai or able to relocate immediately.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo or Travelport reservation systems.
