Tutor – Training & Certification Specialist

About the role

The Tutor will work within the Certification/Training Department, delivering comprehensive training and audit services for QHSE, BCMS, EnMS and AMS systems. Reporting to the Operations Lead UAE and Certification Manager, the role involves close interaction with clients, auditors and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes for ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301).
• Plan, execute and report on audits for IMS/QHSE/BCMS, ensuring impartiality and compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Manage client relationships throughout the audit cycle, handling expectations, NCRs and technical queries.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Technical Manager, Sales, BU Heads) to align audit schedules and training delivery.
• Maintain HSE compliance during field work and ensure all audit documentation is submitted for technical approval.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience conducting audits and training for ISO‑based management systems in marine, oil & gas sectors.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Proven ability to develop training material and evaluate learner performance.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015/2026, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 22301:2019.
• Understanding of ISO HLS, ISO 17021, IRCA, IAF accreditation requirements.
• Familiarity with NACE code classification and industry technical classifications.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Office 365 (Word, Excel) and planning/scheduling software.
