UAE Tax Accountant - Chinese & English Speaker

About the role

The company is seeking a bilingual Tax Accountant to lead UAE corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing and emerging DMTT/Pillar Two compliance. The role requires close interaction with internal finance teams, external advisors and UAE tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance, annual filing and tax adjustments from accounting profit to taxable income.
• Oversee VAT compliance, prepare quarterly returns, reconcile VAT GL accounts and provide guidance on invoicing and contracts.
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation, maintain related‑party schedules and support Master File/Local File preparation.
• Monitor DMTT and OECD Pillar Two developments, calculate GloBE income and top‑up tax, and ensure timely filing.
• Maintain the tax compliance calendar, respond to FTA inquiries, support audits and identify tax risk mitigation actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• 3–5 years of tax compliance experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in both English and Chinese.
• Experience working with auditors, tax advisors and multinational finance teams.

Required skills

• UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations.
• Transfer Pricing documentation (Master File, Local File, Disclosure Form).
• OECD BEPS 2.0, Pillar Two and DMTT knowledge.
• IFRS and tax accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel data analysis.
• ERP systems such as SAP.
