U/G Stations E&M Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a U/G Stations E&M Inspector to join our metro projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves on‑site inspection of both electrical and mechanical works across underground and overground stations, ensuring compliance with design, codes and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily site surveillance and routine inspections of HVAC/ECS, fire protection systems (hydrant, sprinkler, detection), water supply & drainage, lifts, escalators, MV/LV distribution, lighting, UPS, earthing and lightning protection, BMS/SCADA cabling and terminations.
• Record observations, raise non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and verify ITP/WIR compliance, material handling and storage.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, witness FAT/SAT/IST, and compile evidence for acceptance.
• Coordinate with civil works for penetrations, clearances and support structures; log interface issues.
• Monitor HSSE requirements, especially NFPA 130 life‑safety features, and ensure safe work practices.
• Prepare daily progress reports, photo logs, inspection reports and assist with measurement and bill verification.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of E&M site inspection experience on metro or rail projects.
• Proven ability to work with QA/QC checklists and design‑build workflows.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to coordinate with contractors and PMC engineers.
