Unit Head, Talent Acquisition – Business

About the role

The Unit Head, Talent Acquisition – Business is responsible for leading recruitment activities to meet staffing goals across the bank. Reporting to senior leadership, the role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve recruitment targets and support Emiratization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies, set goals and KPIs, and manage the full recruitment cycle.
• Coordinate manpower allocation with business units and ensure cost‑effective sourcing through agencies and internal channels.
• Lead career fairs, international business trips, and ADIB recruitment campaigns.
• Screen candidates, conduct competency‑based interviews, and manage offer proposals and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with ADIB policies, prepare hiring reports, and track diversity metrics.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and governmental bodies to support Emiratization.
• Manage a team of recruiters and recruitment administrators, providing coaching and performance oversight.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in HR recruitment, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven leadership and people‑management skills.
• Strong decision‑making, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, targets and financial aspects of recruitment.
• Self‑motivated, persistent, and able to work independently.
