About the role
Frontline Information Technology is looking for a skilled software engineer to join its team in Dubai, UAE, working full time. The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain software applications using the VB.NET programming language.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software applications using VB.NET.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse, design and implement software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
- Take part in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in VB.NET development.
- Strong knowledge of the SDLC and software engineering principles.
- Experience with database design and development using MS SQL Server.
- Experience in ERP software development on Windows and web-based applications; recent and proven experience on window-based ERP / HRMS applications is preferred, especially in construction, contracting, manufacturing or real estate.
