Vendor Coordinator

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Vendor Coordinator to join its Engineering team within the Oil, Gas & New Energies business in Abu Dhabi. The role starts office‑based and will transition to an on‑shore site, supporting the delivery of large‑scale energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage vendor activities at the project site, ensuring timely delivery, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and close‑out of vendor‑supplied equipment and materials.
• Act as the primary interface between the EPCM team, contractors, vendors, and the client.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedule commitments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Vendor Coordinator or in a similar role within EPCM projects.
• Familiarity with oil, gas, or energy sector project environments.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi after an initial office period.
