Vendor Operations Specialist – Packets & Movers

About the role

Porter is looking for a Vendor Operations Specialist (Business Associate – Packets & Movers) to own end‑to‑end coordination between customers and vendors. You will ensure smooth execution of shifting requests, drive customer satisfaction, and support business expansion in the fast‑growing last‑mile logistics space.

Key responsibilities

• Gather complete shifting requirements from customers, including inventory, locations, timelines, and special handling needs.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations based on internal pricing guidelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the shifting lifecycle, clarifying pricing, timelines, and service scope.
• Identify, onboard, and negotiate with vendor partners to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and maintain alignment with customer expectations.
• Track and report on operational metrics, ensuring timely completion of movement jobs.
• Contribute ideas for business expansion and process improvement.
