Veterinary Physiotherapist

About the role

We are seeking a registered physiotherapist passionate about small‑animal care to lead the wellness and physiotherapy services at our newly established Groomy Pet practice in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for delivering a full range of therapeutic modalities and guiding the clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior veterinarians and students in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
• Deliver physiotherapy, osteopathy, laser therapy, electrotherapy (TENS), hydrotherapy, and shockwave therapy to pets.
• Treat spinal, joint, muscular, ligament and tendon conditions, and facilitate post‑surgical rehabilitation.
• Design individualized exercise programmes for neurological, obesity, and preventative cases.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to optimise patient flow and business strategies.
• Uphold clinical standards, ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a practising physiotherapist or in a similar role.
• Accredited physiotherapy degree and a valid professional licence.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises and patient assessment.
• Ability to create personalised treatment plans and work within multidisciplinary teams.
