Vice President – Head of Working Capital & Real Estate Lending

About the role

The Head of Working Capital & Real Estate Lending will lead the design, management and performance of RAKBANK’s lending portfolio for Business Banking customers. Reporting to the Head of Product – Business Banking, you will shape the bank’s SME and commercial lending proposition, driving growth, profitability and customer relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the strategy and product roadmap for Working Capital and Real Estate Lending.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, monitor performance and pricing effectiveness.
• Identify new product opportunities and digital enablement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Digital Banking, Credit, Risk, Operations and Compliance for product launches.
• Leverage data and customer insights to innovate and differentiate the offering.
• Manage P&L for the working capital and real estate portfolios.
• Set annual product plans, pricing strategies and performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk policies.
• Lead a team of Product Managers and Analysts.
• Represent the product agenda in cross‑functional forums and governance committees.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of banking or financial services experience, with 5–7 years in product management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the SME banking ecosystem and credit programmes.
• Proven ability to manage product lifecycles and deliver innovative solutions.
• Leadership experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
