Vice President – Onboarding & Servicing (Retail Banking Ops)

About the role

The Vice President, Onboarding and Servicing, will lead the strategic direction and daily operations of account onboarding, ATM networks and cash management within Mashreq's Retail Banking Operations. This senior position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for delivering secure, efficient, and compliant services to key clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for account onboarding, ATM operations and cash management.
• Oversee day‑to‑day service delivery ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing issues promptly.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performance team of professionals.
• Identify and drive process improvements and technology adoption to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial performance of the accounting services and cash management functions.
• Implement robust risk management practices for cash handling and ATM operations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in banking operations or similar financial services environment.
• Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to onboarding, ATM and cash handling.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring.
• Ability to drive process improvement initiatives and adopt new technologies.
