Video Editor & Videographer

About the role

Fisher HR is hiring a Video Editor & Videographer in Abu Dhabi on a full-time basis. The person captures and edits high-quality video content from concept through final delivery, operating cameras and production equipment, editing raw footage, adding motion graphics and visual effects, and collaborating with creative and production teams to deliver engaging content on time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and produce video content for social media, corporate, commercial, promotional and event projects.
• Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment and other video production tools during shoots.
• Set up and manage camera equipment, lighting, framing, composition and shooting angles.
• Review, organise and manage raw footage and media assets.
• Edit and assemble footage into polished final outputs using cutting, sequencing, colour correction, sound editing, transitions and visual effects.
• Create motion graphics, titles, animations and other visual elements when required.
• Adapt content to different formats and specifications for social media and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with creative, production and other teams, contribute creative ideas in pre-production and follow brand guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate on-site shoots across different locations.
• Maintain video files, project assets and final deliverables, and stay up to date with video production and visual storytelling trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, diploma or professional qualification in Film Production, Media, Visual Arts, Multimedia, Communications or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in video editing and videography, preferably in a media production house, creative agency or similar.
• Proven hands-on experience in both shooting and post-production editing.
• Strong portfolio or showreel of previous videography and editing work.
• Experience on social media, corporate, commercial, promotional and event videos is highly preferred; previous UAE experience in media production or creative agencies is an advantage.
