Virtual Relationship Manager (Emiratized)

About the role

We are looking for a Virtual Relationship Manager to join First Abu Dhabi Bank’s Dubai team. The role focuses on managing and activating a portfolio of non‑borrowing customers, driving growth and delivering a superior onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of 400‑500 customers, primarily non‑borrowing, to meet sales and growth targets.
• Activate dormant or inactive customers and ensure timely KYC updates and due‑diligence.
• Cross‑sell and refer customers to other units while avoiding mis‑selling and providing transparent product recommendations.
• Resolve customer redresses promptly, maintaining high service standards.
• Participate in learning and training programmes to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Adhere strictly to KYC, compliance and internal processes, achieving satisfactory audit ratings.
• Identify and manage risks in line with governance and control frameworks.
• Monitor competition offerings and suggest improvements to products and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate, commercial or business banking managing a customer portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of banking products, policies and processes with a commercial focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and results‑driven with the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with banking software and systems and a basic understanding of KYC and compliance procedures.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify and mitigate risks.
• Team‑player attitude with a collaborative mindset.
