Visa Consultant - Retail Store

About the role

Atlys is building an AI-first platform that simplifies travel visas, having processed visas for more than 1 million travellers across 127 countries. As a Visa Consultant at its Dubai store, you will welcome walk-in travellers, explain their visa options and guide them through the application process on site, combining sales expertise with hands-on application support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with visa applications on site, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Welcome walk-in customers and understand their travel and visa needs
• Educate travellers on visa requirements, timelines, pricing and Atlys' value proposition
• Resolve customer queries with empathy, patience and professionalism
• Follow up with customers to keep them updated on application status
• Keep the store presentable and aligned with brand standards
• Stay current on visa regulations, travel policies and product updates
• Identify ways to improve the in-store experience and share feedback with the team

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or front-desk role
• Prior experience in visa processing, travel agencies, immigration consultancies or related travel services is highly preferred
• Familiarity with visa types (tourist, transit, business), documentation requirements, processing timelines and common rejection reasons; awareness of embassy/consulate procedures is a strong plus
• Fluent English with strong verbal and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Hindi, Malayalam and/or Tamil is highly preferred
• Comfortable working rotational shifts and week-offs (6 days a week, 9-hour shifts with a 1-hour break)
• Well-groomed, professional appearance suitable for a premium retail environment
