Waiter / Head Waiter – Russian Speaker

About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking an experienced Waiter or Head Waiter who is fluent in Russian to join the team at its upscale GAIA venue in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑standard service in a fine‑dining environment and supporting the restaurant’s operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Manage table settings, order taking, and coordination with kitchen staff.
• Supervise junior wait staff, train new team members, and maintain service standards.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area in line with brand standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role within fine‑dining or up‑market restaurant concepts.
• Fluent in English and Russian; additional languages are a plus.
• Currently residing in Dubai.
• Available to start in September/October.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of fine‑dining service procedures.
• Ability to lead and motivate a wait staff team.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Russian.
