About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Waiter and Waitress professionals to join the service team at Novotel Sharjah Expo Center. You will deliver courteous, efficient service to guests in a dynamic hotel restaurant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests to their tables.
- Prepare tables by setting linens, silverware and glasses.
- Present menus, answer queries and take food and beverage orders.
- Serve orders promptly while adhering to hotel service standards.
- Maintain food hygiene and safety, ensuring equipment is functional.
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the outlet.
- Assist with monthly inventory checks of equipment and supplies.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a waiter or waitress.
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience operating the MICROS POS system.
