Waiter/Waitress – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi as a Waiter/Waitress. You will be responsible for delivering high‑standard food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up stations and tables according to hotel standards.
• Greet guests and communicate with them following brand guidelines.
• Assist the captain with menu presentation, recommendations, and order taking.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Handle billing, checking procedures, and follow‑up with guests.
• Maintain a clean buffet area and assist with clearing tables and stations.
• Coordinate the return of dirty linen and support kitchen staff with buffet clearing.
• Stay present in the restaurant during service hours and report guest comments or complaints to the captain.
• Attend briefings, meetings, and training sessions as required.
• Maintain a neat uniform and adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Certification or diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred).
• Previous experience in a standalone restaurant (preferred).
• Resort experience is an advantage.
