Waiter/Waitress – Full-Time

About the role

As a Waiter/Waitress at Rixos Al Mairid in Ras Al Khaimah, you will deliver warm, professional food and beverage service, creating a welcoming experience for every guest while adhering to the resort’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, answer enquiries and build positive relationships through attentive service.
• Know the food and beverage menu, recommend suitable options and identify upselling opportunities.
• Complete opening and closing duties, keeping the outlet clean, organised and ready for service.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and refer unresolved issues to the Team Leader.
• Monitor supplies, minimise waste and assist with equipment inventories.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures and participate in required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance and high personal hygiene standards.
• Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism and a friendly, guest‑focused approach.
• Commit to a clean, organised workplace and adhere to safety procedures.
• Attend training and continuously develop knowledge of the menu and service standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field (preferred).
• Previous food and beverage service experience in a four‑ or five‑star hotel (advantageous).
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service with ability to recommend menu items and upsell.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest‑focused approach.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Able to adapt to different food and beverage outlets and support other hotel areas when needed.
