Warehouse Manager (In-charge)

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will lead the full spectrum of warehouse and transportation activities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of products across the Group’s retail network. The role combines oversight of warehouse operations with management of the delivery fleet to guarantee timely, cost‑effective movement of stock.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse functions including receiving, checking, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization, maintain security, housekeeping and accurate documentation of inbound/outbound shipments.
• Ensure high inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating discrepancies, damages and losses.
• Oversee transportation and distribution, planning daily delivery schedules based on store requirements and business priorities.
• Manage the fleet, drivers and vehicles, allocating resources efficiently to meet delivery timelines while monitoring routes, fuel consumption, vehicle utilization and transportation costs.
• Coordinate with retail stores on delivery schedules, urgent stock needs, returns and collections.
• Supervise third‑party logistics providers, monitor their performance and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
• Maintain vehicle compliance with UAE regulations, handling documentation, registration, insurance and servicing.
• Track and resolve delivery delays, damages, shortages and other transportation issues, identifying opportunities to optimise routes and reduce costs.
• Establish and monitor transportation KPIs such as on‑time delivery, vehicle utilisation, delivery cost, fuel efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing end‑to‑end warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Experience overseeing fleet management, driver coordination and transportation logistics.
• Familiarity with UAE vehicle regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain high standards of security and housekeeping.
