Web Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Web Designer who will be responsible for creating great websites for our clients. Primary duties include conceptualising and implementing creative ideas for client websites, as well as creating visual elements that align with each client’s branding. You will work closely with our web development team to ensure a smooth, hassle‑free implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualising creative ideas with clients.
• Testing and improving website design.
• Establishing design guidelines, standards and best practices.
• Maintaining website appearance by enforcing content standards.
• Designing visual imagery aligned with client branding.
• Working with various content management systems.
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, site maps and wireframes.
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
• Designing sample pages including colours and fonts.
• Preparing design plans and presenting website structure.
• Ensuring designs meet accessibility standards.
• Collaborating with developers to implement designs.
• Staying updated with the latest web design trends and technologies.

Required profile

• A relevant diploma in a related field.
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Creative and open to new ideas.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good understanding of SEO principles.
• Proficient understanding of cross‑browser compatibility issues.
• Up‑to‑date experience with international web protocols, standards and technologies.
