Workshop Planner – Automotive Service

About the role

Al Futtaim Motors – Toyota is seeking an experienced Workshop Planner to coordinate technical work in its Ras Al Khaimah service centre. You will be responsible for matching jobs with the right technicians, monitoring progress, and ensuring vehicles are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate workshop jobs to technicians based on skillsets and job requirements.
• Monitor the technician planning board and Job Progress Control Board, reporting issues to the workshop manager.
• Maintain fair task distribution and meet utilisation and efficiency targets.
• Apply the Fix It Right (FIR) process to achieve performance goals.
• Ensure jobs are completed within scheduled timeframes and quality standards.
• Track precise time clocking and escalate discrepancies when needed.
• Update Service Advisors on vehicle status to guarantee on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience as a Workshop Controller or Planner in an automobile dealership.
• Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• UAE driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
