Wound Care Nurse / Tissue Viability Nurse (UK/Europe Based)

About the role

A leading international hospital in Dubai is looking for an experienced, compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The role suits Western-trained nurses who want to share their advanced wound care expertise in a modern facility serving a diverse, global patient population. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Assess wounds comprehensively and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform advanced wound care procedures, including debridement, dressing changes, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) and pressure injury prevention.
• Monitor wound healing progress, document changes and adjust treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Educate patients and families on wound care, post-discharge care and prevention.
• Maintain infection prevention protocols and accurate EMR documentation.
• Act as a resource and mentor to other nursing staff in wound care best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Active, valid nursing license in the home country or country of current practice.
• At least 2 years' recent wound care experience, preferably in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Certification in Wound Care (e.g., WOCN, CWCN or equivalent) preferred.
• Preference for nurses trained and licensed in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and attention to detail; culturally sensitive and adaptable.

Required skills

• BLS certification required; ACLS is an advantage.
• Advanced wound care procedures such as NPWT and debridement.
