Year 1 Educator – Early Years Teacher

About the role

Kids First Group is seeking a dynamic Year 1 Educator to join its network of premium early years nurseries across the Gulf region. The successful candidate will deliver an enriched Year 1 curriculum, inspire a love of learning, and contribute to a vibrant classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons aligned with the chosen curriculum (EYFS, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.).
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on extra‑curricular activities and school events.
• Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and wellbeing.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of each child.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent (PGCE, HND, BTEC, etc.).
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a similar setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to continuous professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with staff, parents, and children.
