3D Designer & Modeler – Product Development

About the role

First Numismatic Tech Corp in Dubai is seeking an experienced 3D Designer & Modeler to join its R&D team. The role focuses on turning concept ideas into manufacturing‑ready enclosures, chassis and compact computing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and 3‑D model enclosures and chassis across four product lines.
• Optimize designs for engineering‑grade 3D printing, machining and assembly.
• Create material‑specific variants using TPU, Nylon PA11/PA12 and carbon‑fiber composites.
• Produce manufacturing‑ready STL and STEP files and define tolerances, fits and fastening systems.
• Collaborate with the technical team throughout prototype testing, refinement and pilot‑production stages.
• Support iterative design improvements based on physical testing and manufacturing feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in 3D product and mechanical design.
• Strong proficiency with professional CAD tools such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Blender.
• Practical knowledge of engineering materials including TPU, Nylon PA11/PA12 and carbon‑fiber composites.
• Experience with additive manufacturing technologies like FDM, SLS or MJF.
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing, tolerances, mechanical fits and post‑processing.
• Portfolio demonstrating real‑world hardware enclosure or chassis designs.
