4-Axis CNC Machining Center Operator

About the role

The 4‑Axis CNC Machining Center Operator will be responsible for setting up, programming, and running 4‑axis CNC machines to produce aluminium components that meet technical drawings and specifications. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Umm Al Quwain and works closely with supervisors and the production team to ensure high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures.
• Load raw aluminium material and perform test runs.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust parameters, and maintain surface quality.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document production data and report any deviations.
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize jobs and optimise cycle times.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating CNC machining centres, preferably 4‑axis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM outputs, and work instructions.
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances, finishes, and aluminium material behaviour.
• Commitment to safety, housekeeping, and adherence to SOPs.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Umm Al Quwain and adapt to shift requirements.
