Accommodation Technician

About the role

EDU Interactive, a French‑immersion school for international students, is seeking an Accommodation Technician to support the placement of teenage students in university residences during the summer of 2024. The role involves monitoring room occupancy, coordinating with residence managers, and maintaining accurate placement records.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the allocation of teens to university residence rooms based on program dates.
• Monitor and update room occupancy status in real‑time.
• Communicate regularly with the in‑house accommodation team and external residence managers.
• Handle weekend arrivals and departures as required.
• Enter and maintain placement data using the school’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Intermediate proficiency in French and English (written); advanced French speaking.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and maintain rigorous, thorough records.
• Comfortable spending several hours daily working on a computer.
• Possession of a personal vehicle is considered an asset.

• Hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $19.50 based on experience.
