Account Manager – Client Retention & Growth

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager who will drive client retention and organic growth by managing social media retainers and building strong relationships with key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management of key accounts, delivering always‑on social and strategic campaigns.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and on‑time delivery.
• Conduct client meetings, weekly status calls and quarterly business reviews, presenting insights, strategies and creative recommendations.
• Benchmark globally and regionally to propose best‑in‑class practices and keep the agency ahead of the curve.
• Oversee contracts, invoices and credit control with support from the Account Director.
• Support pitches and business‑development initiatives across the agency.
• Contribute to campaign strategy, content planning and creative briefs based on client objectives.
• Track campaign performance using analytics and KPIs, prepare reports and suggest data‑driven improvements.
• Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and position the agency as an innovation partner.
• Maintain accurate client information in the CRM and assist with lead qualification.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in account management, business development or a related role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Creative, innovative mindset with a focus on results.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
